Oakdale residents register online or inside the Discovery Center before their first walk.

Information

Walk your way to less stress, lower weight, better health, and great rewards! It’s easy! Oakdale residents walk the 200-acre preserve as much as possible, with the ultimate goal of reaching a total of 150 miles.

Here's How

After enrolling, submit completed mileage forms inside the Discovery Center (or in the outdoor drop box) on the same dates as your walks in the Oakdale Nature Preserve. Mileage walked outside of the Oakdale Nature Preserve and forms submitted late will not qualify. Recreation staff will track all qualifying walked mileage up to 150 miles.

Verifying Oakdale Residency (using a photo id) will be required before reward is claimed.
