Information
Kali Higgins is a wellness coach, teacher, retreat leader and sound healing practitioner. She received her Master’s in Holistic Health from St. Catherine University in 2011. Her integrative approach to healing is informed by nature and spirituality. She is certified in astrology, Ayurveda, herbalism, yoga (E-RYT00) and sound healing. For the past 7 years, Kali has been teaching Astro + Sound classes in the east metro community and looks forward to sharing this experience at the Oakdale Discovery Center.
Sound healing and vibrational sound therapies support people in shifting their consciousness, allowing the mind to go into deeper states of meditation and relaxation. On an energetic level, each bowl and instrument also have a resonant sound and sonic qualities that facilitates healing and spiritual connection. In our daily lives, there is so much unnecessary noise that creates discord in the body. By tuning into the harmonious sounds of the singing bowl or working with a range of dissonant sounds of the gong, sound meditation invites your body, mind, and spirit to re-align with their own natural frequencies of well-being.
Through the lens of astrology, Full Moons can act as amplifiers, shining a light in places where before there was darkness. This revealing nature of the moon is wonderful to work with in combination with sound healing because it expands upon our intentions. A perfect time to release and let go of outdated ways of thinking, patterns, and emotional upset, each full moon has a different flavor. On the other hand, New Moons represent times of going inward to get quiet and call in what we want on a soul level. New moons are great for making wishes and setting new intentions while Full moons work well for resetting/letting go of what no longer serves you.
Each session will include:
- Time for people to connect and Kali will share mini-astrology teaching, discussing the theme of the moon and how it personally affects the collective (15 minutes)
- Gentle movement and breathwork /settling in (10 minutes)
- Sound healing (50 minutes)
Please bring anything that will support your comfort. Most people enjoy the session lying down on the floor. Some suggested items you may consider:
- Your own mat, blanket and pillows (one for head and one for below the knees)
- A zero-gravity chair if it’s hard to get up and down off the floor
- An eye mask/covering
- Journal if you like to take notes or write down thoughts before/after session
- Water bottle
Please note, a limited number of yoga mats and blankets are available on a first come, first serve basis. No experience is necessary to attend these classes. All are welcome.

Information
Step into a quiet, reverent space to sit with Tea, an ancient, heart-opening plant teacher that
invites us into deeper presence, stillness, and connection. In this ceremony, we gather in meditative “silence,” allowing the simplicity of sharing Tea to guide us home to ourselves and the rhythms of nature. Each bowl offers an invitation to listen, to your body, your breath, and your heart, and to receive what is needed in the moment. There is nothing to learn or achieve here. Only the gift of being. The Tea served is organic or wild-harvested, prepared with care, and infused with strong qi and gentle wisdom. This practice supports nervous system regulation, spiritual nourishment, and a return to the sacredness of simplicity.
This ritual is a sacred pause to reconnect with what truly matters. First timers are welcome – there is nothing you need to know, be, or do in order to receive the healing of this meditative ceremony.
The tea practice is traditionally offered seated on the floor, but chairs can be made available if needed. Please bring your own meditation cushion, blankets, or pillows to sit on. There will be a limited number of blocks, blankets and bolsters available on a first-come, first-served basis.
