Comprehensive Plan

The Comprehensive Plan creates a vision and direction for the City to aspire towards, guides future land use and redevelopment decisions, and establishes a foundation for budgeting appropriate resources for specific development outcomes. Comprehensive plans are required by state statute to cover specific topics and to be completed every ten years through a process of community engagement and public input.
