The Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce's mission is to create opportunities for businesses to share. Oakdale has partnered with the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD) to offer the Open to Business program. This program provides free assistance from MCCD’s expert staff, customized to meet the specific needs of each entrepreneur. In partnership with the Saint Paul Port Authority, businesses can access Trillion BTU loans for qualifying energy improvements. Loans are structured to be cash flow positive, with up to 100 percent financing available. To learn more or apply, visit the Trillion BTU website.
C-PACE financing is transforming communities by enabling commercial property owners to make their businesses more efficient and resilient. Through state legislation, the Saint Paul Port Authority is designated as the C-PACE program administrator with a statewide reach. The Port Authority works directly with Minnesota cities and counties to establish joint powers agreements. These agreements give MinnPACE the authority to place C-PACE assessments on properties where the owner has consented to the agreement. To learn more, visit the MinnPACE website
