All vendors are required to comply with the restrictions listed in Section 9-149 of the City Code, notwithstanding the following temporary provisions:
a. Vendors will comply with all pedestrian and vehicle regulations.
b. Vendors must provide a COVID-19 plan relating to their operation.
Vendors wishing to sell at city parks must comply with the temporary provisions listed in the General Agreement, in addition to the following:
c. May only operate business at an approved city park parking lot:
1. Oakdale Nature Preserve
2. Richard Walton Park
3. Tanners Lake Park
d. Vendors will be provided with renderings of the parking lots showing where mobile food vehicles may be parked. Location selection at each park will be on a first come, first served basis, with no more than 2 vehicles at each park.
e. Vendors will be required to provide their own trash receptacles, dispose of trash at an off-site location, and tidy up the area before departing for the day.
f. Vendors will be self-sufficient and contained; they will provide their own electrical service, water, and sewer. No exterior cooking will be allowed.
I, the “Licensee”, desire to operate a mobile food vehicle within the City of Oakdale (the “City”) and have applied for a license to do so. I understand that Section 9-143 of the Oakdale City Code requires all mobile food vehicle licensees to hold harmless and indemnify the City for any claims for damage to property and/or injury to persons which may occur while operating a mobile food vehicle in the City. In accordance with that requirement and by signing below and submitting this document to the City, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to everything outlined in this document, including the following:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Licensee agrees to protect, defend , indemnify, save, and hold harmless the City, its officials, agents, and employees from any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury, of any kind whatsoever (including without limitation all claims for monetary loss, property damage, equitable relief, personal injury and/or wrongful death), whether brought by an individual or other entity, or imposed by a court of law or by administrative action of any federal, state, or local governmental body or agency, arising out of, in any way whatsoever, any acts, omissions, negligence, or willful misconduct on the part of the Licensee, its officers, owners, personnel, employees, agents, contractors, invitees, or volunteers while operating under its license. This indemnification applies to and includes, without limitation, the payment of all penalties, fines, judgments, awards, decrees, attorneys' fees, and related costs or expenses, and any reimbursements to the City for all legal fees, expenses, and costs incurred by it.
Attach photographs of the mobile food vehicle displaying the exterior view.
Attach photographs of the mobile food vehicle displaying the interior view, including the fire extinguishing items (Hood System, Ansul system, Class K, last service date tag, etc.).
Attach a current copy of certificate of liability insurance showing auto insurance, worker’s compensation, liability insurance, and worker's compensation. The general liability policy must be at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. The City of Oakdale must be listed as additional insured and as the Certificate Holder.
If any, attach a written authorization made between applicant and property owner. If on City property, please notify the Licensing Division of the location.
Attach a site plan no less than 8”x10” displaying the locations and routes of business operation. If selling at city parks or on city property, use the provided map and indicate the location of where you would like to conduct work.

Attach an updated copy of food license issued by Washington County.
