Winner receives a $100 Marcus Theaters Gift Card! Calling all creative Oakdale residents. Do you have what it takes to create the best snow sculpture in town? If so, head outside any time after a snowfall, and start constructing your masterpiece. All sculptures are judged on appearance, relative to the season’s theme. Learn where maple syrup comes from and how to make it! Head out into the Oakdale Nature Preserve, tap a tree, and start the maple syrup process. The clever Easter Bunny has hidden eggs along the trails of the Oakdale Nature Preserve. We need kids to help find one and then exchange it for a very special surprise! The Easter Bunny also hides two golden eggs redeemable for extra special surprises! After hunting for eggs, enjoy games, refreshments, crafts, face painting, petting zoo, and great prizes! Road Trip: Sweet Treats TourFriday, March 27 | 12 – 4 PM | Discovery Center
The afternoon revolves around sugar! Sweet Chocolat is a small artisan chocolatier in Arden Hills specializing in hand-made, unique chocolate goodies. Learn about the history of chocolate, chocolate tempering and the process used to create the treats that surround you. No trip to a chocolate shoppe is complete without sampling and shopping. Then get the full Northern Soda experience! You will participate in the operation of this new soda factory by mixing ingredients plus see and assist on the canning and packing lines. For the business side of the operation, help create a commercial for a soda flavor and work quality control by sampling the soda and by locating any "bad" cans in the canning area. The best is yet to come - enjoying a can of this 1950s style craft soda with some popcorn, while playing board games or socializing. Registration and cancellation deadline is March 12. $36.

ViniYogaDiscovery Center
ViniYoga is a therapeutic style of yoga which adapts to the needs of each student. Classes will include a blend of gentle yoga postures, breathing, and simple meditations to help the body build strength and flexibility while remaining steady and comfortable. Beginners are welcome as are those who have practiced yoga before and all students are encouraged to move at their own pace. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.
