City of Oakdale seeking a Finance Director

The City of Oakdale is seeking a Finance Director to serve as a trusted financial and budget advisor to the City Council, City Administrator, and department heads. The City is well-positioned for future growth with a 2021 annual budget of approximately $25 million which includes all funds and special revenues and an Aa2 credit rating. The Finance Director reports directly to the City Administrator and actively participates as a member of the City’s management team. The position manages the Finance Division and its five-member staff. 

The position starting range is $116,072 to $144,206, +/- depending on qualifications and experience. The City offers a competitive benefits program including health and dental insurance options, life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, and paid time off (PTO). This position participates in the PERA pension program. Open until filled, with first review of resumes on March 3.
