Administrative Assistant - Public Works

Oakdale, Minnesota (current population: 28,315) is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. 

Major Responsibilities 

  • Obtains office supplies and drafts purchase orders for approval.
  • Familiar with purchasing skills including budget, coding, and purchase order process.
  • Monitors the service counter and provides customer service.
  • Prepares and distributes work orders from customer contacts.
  • Files letters, reports and other documents.
  • Assists with timesheet entry and payroll processing.
  • Perform all other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in clerical or administrative role.

Desired Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience in clerical or administrative role.
  • Administrative experience in Public Works or a comparable environment.

Benefits

  • 2022 Pay Range: $27.05 - $33.81 per hour
