The City of Oakdale is accepting applications for full-time Property and Evidence Technician. The property and evidence technician is a civilian position that works in the Oakdale Police Department and is responsible for handling evidence and managing the property room.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs skilled administrative support work, oversees and preserves the chain of custody of all evidence turned into the property room, manages and records property in control of the evidence and property areas; transports physical evidence, and keeps accurate records of all property through the electronic records management system.
Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in property room or evidence management. Knowledge and experience of police records management systems such as Central Square.
Starting Pay Range: $26.16 to $32.50/hour DOQ, plus excellent benefits
