2021 Project Details

The neighborhoods in the 2021 project area have streets that are at the end of their service life. The pavement in these areas is severely cracked, and pavement has had to be patched by hand year after year. Some project areas contain additional problems such as drainage issues.

Proposed Improvements

Proposed improvements for the 2021 street improvement project include:

  • Pavement Rehabilitation
  • Elevate/Repave Gateway Trail Connection
  • Utility Repairs
    • Fire Hydrants & Gate Valves
    • Sanitary Sewer Sealing
    • Storm Sewer Repairs & Extensions
    • Clean out areas by pond inlets and outlets
  • Street Light Pole and LED Replacement
  • Street Signing Evaluation and Replacement
  • Private Utility Improvements (gas, electric,phone,cable)

Special Assessments

The total estimated cost for the project is $3,670,000. The City will finance 60% of the total project, and the balance will be paid by special assessments.
