Christmas Tree Sales

The City issues licenses to businesses wanting to sell natural trees, also known as Christmas trees, in Oakdale.

Application Requirements: New License

• Christmas Tree Sales Application (PDF) 
• Payment of $250 to City of Oakdale - The city offers a quick and easy way to pay your license online. You may also pay by mail or in person with a check or cash.

Licensing Process

Once a completed license application has been received by City staff, the application will be reviewed and a report will be submitted to the City Council. The licensing process may take up to 30 days.

License Term 

The license term is November 1 through January 9 of the following year. Businesses must re-apply annually by October 1 if they wish to sell Christmas trees the following year.
