Free yourself from free newspapers

One of the most common questions the city gets is “how do I stop delivery of the free newspapers and advertisements that come to my home?” The distribution of newspapers and related advertising material is an activity that is protected under the First Amendment. The city, therefore, has very limited control over this activity.

Here is contact information for the respective newspapers so that residents can request that the delivery of free newspapers not be made to their homes

  • Lillie Newspaper: 651-748-7800
  • Star Tribune: 612-673-4343 or tcv@startribune.com
  • Pioneer Press: 651-228-5524

You may need to submit your request more than once.
