The annual Oakdale Summerfest Celebration is held for up to four days each June at Walton Park located in the northwest corner of 15th Street and Hadley Avenue. There's an amazing parade on Thursday night, a variety of musical performances at the band shell, fireworks on Saturday night, plus lots-o-food vendors, carnival rides, bingo, tournaments, medallion hunt, royalty, kids events, and much, much more!
If you are attending any of the concerts, you may wish to bring along your own chair or blanket.
The parade route begins at Geneva and 15th, travels east on 15th, and ends at City Hall (15th and Hadley).
The parade route, nearby streets, and the City Hall parking lot will close to traffic at 5:30 PM and reopen at the end of the parade; around 8 PM.
Vehicles parked in the City Hall parking lot at or before 5:30 PM will not be able to leave the parking lot until the parade is over.
